Cal44 is a free online calculator hub built around one simple idea: high-quality everyday calculations should be fast, private and require no signup. We currently ship 31 professional calculators covering finance, health, math, tax, time and unit conversion — all of them run entirely in your browser.

Our mission

Most online calculators are buried under ads, paywalls and slow page loads, and many quietly send your inputs to a server. Cal44 is a deliberate response: every tool is client-side, every result is instant, and the entire site is a Progressive Web App that keeps working offline.

How Cal44 works

• Client-side computation. Inputs and results live in your browser and are never transmitted to a server.
• No accounts. There is no signup, login or stored history beyond your local device.
• Open standards. The site is a standards-based PWA. Install it from your browser menu and it behaves like a native app.
• Documented formulas. Every calculator on Cal44 has a dedicated page explaining the formula, a worked example and an FAQ.

What Cal44 covers today

Finance — EMI, mortgage, compound and simple interest, ROI, savings goal, loan comparison, salary, currency, tip, discount. Health — BMI, BMR, calorie (TDEE), ideal weight, body fat. Math — percentage, scientific, fraction, power & root, average, standard. Time — age, date difference, time arithmetic, countdown. Tax — VAT / GST / sales tax, US federal income tax estimator. Utility — GPA, unit converter, fuel cost.

What's next

The roadmap focuses on educational depth (formula breakdowns, worked examples, comparison content), accessibility (keyboard support, screen-reader labelling) and a small set of AI-assisted features that respect the same client-side principle — explanation generation that runs locally, not remote-call data collection.
